One important thing to keep in mind is that there is a certain way of having dories stitched on when designing a blouse. Firstly, pay attention to the fabric. Avoid dories on silk or thick cotton blouses as they ruin the fitting of the blouse. Other fabrics like cheffonne have a better fitting with dories.
Secondly, when designing dories please make sure that the borders are not close together. See that they are relatively far apart so that when the dories are tied they fit well and don’t look like something has just been packed in them.
